Don't give up so easily, The signs are there that you CAN grow as well, just look at it differently.

Next time you learned not to trust anyone. Not because your buddy is not trustworthy, but because you don't know everyone he knows the way he knows them.

Growing is often something not shared until the final product is acheived. I hope you stick with it.

I had that same thing happen as far as rokmates and bullshit ...but I never had a crazy ex chop anything ...
