Lighting Can you use different grow light at the same time?

I am new to growing and at the moment I have a Kingbo 300W LED light which is the purple light. I want to add a new light into the new grow space which is a COB (kind of white light). Can I use them both at the same time? Or should I use the same colour light? Thanks in advance.

Don't think that should be a problem with that.. plenty folks on here with all sorts of mixed lights in their space.

I've been slowly changing from hps and started by buying a cheapo 600w led....when the ladies seemed to like it, I added another 600w cob/led (diff brand) and now added a 3500 autocob. Damn ladies are really flippin their tutus! Of course, it boils down to quality, but at this point, I have to say my 5 ladies are showing off. I'm just a simple grower but I've not detected any problem. I do like having total control and placement over each light.
