Hi everyone

Been having some issues with my fastbuds banana purple punch. I did transplant her a little later than normal so it may be the reason for loose buds, or she may harden over the next few weeks. Who knows.

Anyways, her leaves have been curling up to protect herself over the past few weeks and I’m not sure why. Usually this comes down to temperature issues. My temp spiked to 31 degrees Celsius for one day when I had a dry heater in. However it was only for one day. My temperatures average for 24c-26c tops.

28th of April is when I had a spike with the temp and humidity because I was installing a new extractor fan for an hour lol. Yes, it was a bitch.

Here’s my months stats:
My humidity is usually around 50-56%.

I was feeding her a high dose of nutrients many weeks ago before noticing some tip Burns so I dropped the nutrients... and have done until today. I upped her big bud and b-52 today to try get these buds denser.

She has been showing orange pistols for a while which left me concerned for hermies. I’m hoping she hasn’t hermied and that’s why she ain’t focused on the buds as much. I’ve noticed the buds ARE getting fatter, but they still feel loose. I’ve had a couple leaves yellow at random too. Should I be worried or is there still a high chance she will get harder/dense over the next few weeks? She’s spent an overall 37 days in flower roughly.

All advice appreciated brothers and sisters :smoking:

Light intensity can cause leaves to curl like that. Buds look nice though!!
I’ll cut off a strip of paper and check the ppfd again today with photon. I was due to do that. She is mainly under a mars ts1000 quite a bit away. When she first started curling I moved the light up. Will check the ppfd out. Just cut the rest of nuggets down so it’s only fastbuds girl now. So she has the space to herself now and will be under a 250w light and ts1000 light

I second what @Cooterjuice said. Anytime I've had canoing like that on my leaves was due to too much light. Too much light can also cause your buds to foxtail as well. I'd drop it some and wait a few days to see if it gets worse.

Buds look great overall though! Definitely heading for a good harvest.

I hate on myself if I end up with loose buds, hermies or mold. This grow has been pretty two plants molded and one hermie. So hoping none has happened to this girl or my girl I just harvested. Gonna adjust the lighting and so on today. Just hope she gets more dense over the coming few weeks

Ppfd is no more than 620. That shouldn’t be enough to cause this sort of stress surely
I think it depends on the strain as well. I've had some that I can dump a bunch of light into it and it barely flinches and others I put right next to it and it's burning within a hour. Might just be a more sensitive strain. I know my last Fourm Stomper was a bit like that. Felt wrong with how low I had to turn the lights to get it to stop canoing.

I feel that, I have a tropicanna poison xl auto that's super airy on the buds as well and have been trying to get it to bulk up.

Sucks on the mold and hermies but it seems to happen to the best of em. Just gotta shake it off and keep at it! I've seem some great stuff come out of your space so your definitely doing something right!

Thanks bro. I’ve been trying to open her up a bit too. Taking more dead leaves off her. I’ve never had any canoe like this from this sort of ppfd. She’s a big girl, I left too many smaller branches on her because the flower development was decent. Wish I never though. That may play a factor in density/wasted energy. I usually always take them off but decided not to this time around. Far too many branches on her now

I’ve moved her around and had an allergic reaction to her. I’m sensitive to allergens. Brushing up against the leaves bare skinned breaks me out in itchy spots always. My fan is too big to be honest so I’m gonna have to give myself a bit to settle down with itching then pulll her out once again and move fan towards the end of the room so she has more available light. She’s under like 400w total power now. I’ve moved the lights up higher though and will check ppfd once I finish
