Do you judge the trichomes the same way as a regular THC plant?

No, The trichomes on the CBD only plants I have grown were very small and did not get past cloudy. The best measure is just the breeders time frame.

I also found it presses very poorly in a rosin press with almost no yield. I now use an Ethanol extraction for CBD plants.

Thanks for the press info, am a little out of my area, not having grown them prior... otherwise treat same same during grow? Topping training etc?
Just discovered I'm suffering from mild chrones... starting to look at strains etc.

They say 8-9 weeks flowering time...i never know if it's from seed in ground or from when pistils appears...

Just grow like any other auto flowering plant. Crohn's inflammation may be helped by CBD but your diet is important and other medications may be warranted. Don't self diagnose this as too many other maladies are similar. This one deserves a Doctor's input.

This is not set in stone but if a seed is a photoperiod the time frame for flowering is usually from the flip. If the seeds are Autoflowering then the time frame is usually from seedling to finish.

If you have problems with Crohns you should try Juice made from Red Cabbage, after a few days of drinking 1/2 L to 1 L per day you should notice a difference, you can mix with beetroot juice or orange juice for taste and sweetness.
It's not a guaranteed cure for you of course but it has helped and still helps a lot of people.

I've just finished growing dinamed cbd kush for about the 4th time and I just go with breeders time frame they say 65 days on mine and going by the buds she was done so if you have your environment dialed in go with that. Mostly I just run them the same as any other autos
