Mephisto Genetics CDLC...With and without Air injection.

Perfect, thanks! :d5:
I always hand water for 30 days (because I don't have two sets of autopots), so I will turn on airdomes on day 15 as you said. This time I lowered growing medium by 1/3 and also perlite. Let's see what will happen...

I think you will see better results. Trust me, turning them on sooner is gonna a help your growth rate. Those regular Autopots are just so big, the roots don't get enough oxygen without Airdomes

Wow, this strain is already impressing me! I just looked in the tent and thought it had been almost a week since update, only been 4 days. Seriously very nice growth and structure. I raised my lights, Airdome girl is as expected...taller and starting to get the pre-pre-flower look. I am looking forward to seeing how they do in flower. Big ass fan leaves and thick stems, ready for some fat buds. I would like to keep them in my small tent for experimenting, but if they get to large I will move them. I think I will be fine, but if Airdome girl needs more height I have plenty of space. Also, they are drying out faster...so I am will be stepping up my watering frequency.

Okay, it has only been 6 days since last update! It is only day 26 from seed. CDLC is a friggin awesome plant to grow, the growth is extremely steady and they are both doing great. The Airdome girl is much taller, as expected. The other is shorter and wider as expected. You will notice the profile pic at the canopy level of the shorter plant. BTW, remember that Airdome plant was much shorter/smaller when I turned the dome on. Peace, slow

Day 27 from seed. 3 QUART pots and only 110 watts...whaaaaaat? This strain is a keeper and it is less than a month old. I can tell it is going to be killer. I don't care about the yield, but am putting an early prediction in. I predict 5 -6 oz or so dried by their structure so far. I have seen some nice and dense looking buds from others such as @Seabass . I can already tell that I should have spent more on this strain for Black Friday! I spent a ton of money, waited a long time...but strains like this make it worth it.

5-6 oz per plant?
How big is that tent?

They look fast, slow!! :smoking:
Not 5-6 each. I would say 3oz per plant at this point. It is 36" x 20" x 5ft tall. They are in 3 QUART pots. I don't think they will get as tall as my Double Grapes did. Now those had a big flowering area. I just harvested one, 4ft tall. It will definitely yield 5-6 oz on it's own in a 3 QUART pot. I just updated that thread, peace slow.

More than I am reading your posts, more I want to try 3-4L pots.
First I was growing in full 15L pots, then I am trying around 7-8L of medium in there. Now I am sure I will try 3-4L medium in them. I just hope I get 300g from two plants.
Great job!

Thanks, it is more work if you hand water...because they dry out faster. But that is the point, Coco plants like to be fed frequently. Autos don't need 4 gal pots. Use your Airdomes with those 7-8L pots a couple grows before going too low on pot size. I use these crazy small pots to turn over my plants faster. They grow faster than big pots, with Airdomes. But are more work if you don't do an automated system. Good luck, if you need help pm me. Peace, slow.

I would like to point something out to you tho. A large portion of the growers on here wind up taking their Autos plant WAY longer than the advertised or suggested grow cycle length. Most of those people had a slow veg cycle due to overwatering a small plant. Human error almost always. The overwatering combined with large pots slows down root growth and plants take longer to grow. Once they do grow, the big pots might eventually grow a big plant that takes 2-3 weeks extra to finish than it should. Big pots usually grow big plants. Big plants often have various Qualities of product on the same plant. Whereas a medium sized plant will yield a more consistent end product on the same plant. All dense, no waste, minimal garbage, easier trimming, and better over all quality/bag appeal.

In my opinion the whole point in doing an Autoflower strain is to grow a quality strain start to finish in relatively short period of time. Taking 90+ days to grow a single Auto plant that should be done in 70 is too long. I will be 3 weeks into a new grow by then. This adds up when you grow a lot. Everyone has different wants and needs. I don't like wasting time and I like having a variety. Thanks slow
