Lighting CFl's Vs HPS for six 4 gallon pots Grow room

Well I think of remodelling my grow room. I use CFLs I like the fact I can move them around and at the side of plants upper lower e.t.c , yet I find my yield much lower than my expectations, total faillure No more than 30-45 grams dried buds per pot of course Iam a new inexperienced grower. Nevertheless I am afraid lumens factor plays a big role in size density and yield, my best man grows with HPS and his buds are much more dense thick and big and his yield triple in size. Thats my grow room in picture below where I can fit six 15 L pots. well 600 watts dispersed cfls give a count of 20.000 lumens while an HPS I found will hit up to 90.000 lumens . I guess this is more food for the plants or am I wrong. And it costs me exactly the same??? Well what do you think guys. Will an 600watts HPS cover an are of 1m x 1,5m. And what distance should it have from my plants especially as seedling I have no idea, Noob as you know.

How big is your tent? A rule of thumb is 50 watts/sq ft. A little under is fine. I am right at 50 watts/sqfoot in my tent.
I had to turn off the light today when the heat hit 93 in the tent. HPS puts out some heat.

I am using a 400 watt bulb for 8 sq feet. Your tent looks like it's about 4x4. You might put in a 600, and then hang some of your cfls in the corners.

Thanks mate but I am a little confused with sq Feet. What do you mean 4x4 ? Europe calculations you see! My Tent is 2 meters length( I use half meter for my fan so say 1.5 meters length x 1 meters width, but what kind of height do I need. ?

That seems to be 3x5 or 15 sq ft. 600 would work really well if you have good ventilation. You need a strong fan with HPS.

Height depends. My tent is only 1.5 meters tall. I wish it was taller, but I needed that size floor, so that is what I got...
Anyway, height depends on the plant. Some sativas like to get big. Your style of growing also counts. As a rule of thumb,
more is better. You can always adjust the light.

I have a 3'9" x3'9" x 85" tall tent roughly 1 sq meter I have a 1000w HP's turned down to 750w she gets hot. If one fan stops it hits 98° in minutes. I think 600w would be fine and probably give better results than cfls
