I have question on light .
So i have 4 blurple lights over my grow right now
2 1500w Yehsence
1 1000w bestva
1 450 VIPARSPECTRA

My question is i have six plants in flower under those lights
Would there be a problem if i switched over to a
HLG 550 V2 RSpec Full-Spectrum 480W Quantum Board LED Grow Light
In mid grow ..
I want to switch for energy reasons and better light but not at the risk of harming my grow .
Thanks for any information

Me again! I have no scientific evidence to support my claims, but better lights cant hurt if everything else is dialled in and you watch your heights for any burn and adjust accordingly.

Do you have a Lux meter? Or a decent phone you can use a free app for an indication? Lux Meter by Doggo Apps.

I was still in seed/early veg when I switched from a crappy blurple to 480wQB and noticed the difference overnight...

Yes i use the doggo app .
I'm more intrigued by the QBs power
And the difference in draw from the wall .
My current lights all daisy chained draw around 1000w from the wall and the QB maxes out at 480w with better results .
Couldn't ask for better .
The QB will pay for itself in a matter of months

With my potentiometer I got a max of 458w or 485w, cant remember exactly, but it was pretty damn close to '480w'.

If I do anything at night or early morning, when I close the tent I can't see anything for about 30 secs if that helps? Lol it's bloody bright!

What spectrum is the one you ordered?

Interested for you to take a Lux reading from your canopy with the current blurples, and then take a Lux reading with the QB... And work out a lux/watt rating! I'm sure this has all been done scientifically before somewhere..

I have gone from a blurple to a qb with photos.
You may experience a 1-3 day stall
But other than that no problems.
The sooner
The better
Peace
