Has anyone refilled the activated charcoal in a scrubber? I've seen different grade's and different textures of charcoal on amazon. The best grade is very $$$$$. They want a lot to replace the filter, just wondering.

Its not that expensive . there's better grades supposedly but Australia has the best

Looked into doing my old filter with the good stuff and said screw it and just splurged on a new one lol One thing with doing it yourself is getting it packed properly without any little voids.

I do mine every 6 months . never had any issues just packed it down tapping it
