Hey everyone, I just invested in a real ph meter I had the cheap on from lowes
Anyway when I got the new one I compared the two the cheapie was off by two full points. So I used the new mixed up some veg nutes pumped o2 then into water over nite checked ph again was 6.4 fed my plants and went about my day when I came home my leaves were burnt at tips and some yellowing of the ridges also
White widow autos day 32 correct me if I am wrong but the meter being off I was phing the mix wrong so plants didn't get everything. When I ph the mix correctly with new meter the plants got all the nutes and that was too much.
My question is will they come back only some of fan leaves damaged new growth still looks good did I stunt my plants this way I flushed soon as I noticed upon coming home.

I would hold back on nutes for awhile.Get rid of the bad leaves and keep ph in line and she should be ok.

yellowing leaves usually indicate pre-root rot I'd flush out the system and only add h202 and cal mag for now.

Thanks guys its not root rot this happened hours after adding nutes. Namvet ill go cut them leaves now hope that will help and wait a week on nutes thanks

I have used the cheap ones and I now use a Hannah ph meter. I use the calibrating solution once a month and I found that the cheap one was always out of whack and the Hannah needs adjusting about every thee months and only by about .05 of a ph, so I would say keep some calibrating fluid on hand and keep your ph meter in check.

I hope it all comes good for you. Big :karma Cloud: coming your way

Thx seraphim19 the old meter was junk for sure I also now have a Hannah meter and I just calibrated it a few days ago. Plants don't look so bad after I trimmed the burnt leaves out mostly lower fan leaves anyway one plant went untouched thx again to all replys
