New Grower Checking the trichomes

I just checked the trics. On the Fast and Vast plants there are a few trics that are starting to cloud but most I saw were clear. On the Northern Lights I couldn't find any that were getting cloudy. These are all autos so I don't know if that matters. I assume that every strain matures differently even though the grow conditions and feed is the same?
Do the trichomes turn quick or does it take awhile?
The buds look like they are still fattening up.
Should I wait until they are all milk colored before harvesting?
How far away am I or is that impossible to predict?

Idk man, my NL seem to be slow on the milking up too

You can't really predict how long it will take for them to go cloudy because every strain is different.All you can do is keep checking every two to three days.I would wait until ther all cloudy and the pistol hairs have mostly turned brown.
