I have been unable to partake since the early 80's due to job restrictions (subject to random drug testing). However, I am approaching retirement and can't wait to grow my own and shake off the weight of southern small minded stigma. I am particularly encouraged because of the advent of Autoflowers! One quick question. I've visited many of the recommended seed suppliers and find that many I am interested in ordering are "Out of Stock". Is that a common condition? At this point, I am not interested in breeding myself and am looking for feminized seeds only. If I find something I really like, am I likely to be able to re-order it without too much trouble finding it?

There are tons of vendors that you can checkout if one is out of stock. I've not faced out of stock very often. It's usually smaller entities. Here in AFN there is a lot of info regarding Vendors and Breeders. Which ones did you checkout?

if a vendor is out of stock i just would try a different seed bank lots of places stock all breeders seeds and it's really nice to meet you my friend

heya @BigBuick and to afn! yup, needless to say, auto beanz are a popular item, hehe me gonna assume ur here in the statez & there'z a few diff us based seedbankz now that have good selectionz, including wickedpissah, new420guy, magicbean, and one i came across recently that i'll prolly be orderin from meself in a couple weekz called cannageneticsbank if sumthin is outa stock, well, all ya can do is jus keep checkin back great commune here to help u get dialed in & anything u need, jus give a holler

Finding good seeds should not be a problem.It isn't for me and i'm a newbie to growing too! Lots of seedbanks with very good genetics.
Any strain you're looking for in particular?

Lots of seed merchants...payment restrictions may shorten the list.
Welcome to AFN...I've watched autos change so much over the years...getting better and better and the joints got smaller.
Just be aware, growing this stuff is addictive...but you get to burn the evidence.
