Had this light s-etting around, not really using blurple anymore but had some extra cobs so I figured Id give it a conversion attempt. Added 5 cxb2530s 90cri 3000k and 2 clu048 1212s in 4000k, 70cri. Didnt have enough cobs to do a complete conversion so I kept my 3 favorite colored panels as well. Using less nrg for more light is a good thing!

Mid conversion, one heatsink was very rough, had to sand them down a bit.

Awesome light bro i love how you kept a couple of the old modules, that thing is going to grow some serious plants well done

I swear that looks just like a kind led. Lol. @Jupiter he converted the same light you did.

Great job treeman! Final picture doesn't do the cobs justice. How would you say the brightness factor is after the conversion? Jupiter also did a lux meter reading on his and said something like triple the light afterwards. We have the same kitchen table too lol.

You're going to love this light!!

oh its WAY brighter, its really hard to judge without proper measuring equipment tho. im gonna dump those last 3 modules also once i get some more cobs, waiting for next gen citizens to arrive before I order anymore. On another note, cdi has the new citi cobs listed and they are cheaper than current gen across the board, nice surprise. Nothing in stock tho... Ive got a mars to convert also, just not enough room to grow stuff right now!
