Thanks for the review really looking into apollo leds. he was my favorite god myth so i think its only right to have an apollo brand. question how are those pro grow leds?

Months later into the new year and now I'm replying lol.... The pro grows are pretty awesome! Still truckin' along just fine after a year and haven't had a problem since. If I were to start over again though, I would probably go with 2x Cidly Apollo 10's with a multispectrum setup. One unit with beneficial blues and a similar setup to the one I have now for red.

Hey all! I have a question for you. I am looking at getting 2 Apollo 10's but I need to know if the ones I am getting will work alright for vegging and flowering of regular seeds as well as auto's.

150pcs 3w leds, 10 modular clusters, 2:1, red,blue,orange,white,yellow,green size:24''×11×3''

Great review! I am currently trying to copy that spectrum for two apollo 6 units. But it seems like cidly changed their available LEDs! This is what they offered me:

red: 620-630nm, 660nm
blue: 460-470nm 430nm
White: 6500-7500k
Yellow: 580-590nm
Orange: 610-615nm
UV: 380-410nm
IR: 730-850nm

No 720nm, no 12000k etc. or am I just speaking to the wrong salesman?!

Have a good day,
Buzzy

Hey Vick, hope you're still knocking about on this thread as I'm after a bit of advice!

I've got a Cidly Apollo 6 and also an Apollo 4 and they were really effective on my last grow, I managed to pull a really decent weight from 2 plants (Sweet Seeds). I had the LEDs very close to the tops of these plants and got very minimal bleaching. I'm using the LEDs again on my current grow, and i've had to move the lights up so they are almost 2ft above the canopy due to lots of bleaching on the tops of 2 of my plants.

So I was wondering.... when you are using your Apollo 10, how far do you have it above the plants in the veg and flower stages? Did you ever experience any bleaching at all?

Anyone else that uses similar power Apollo units - please feel free to chime in here!

Thanks in advance!

NB

Nice to see this! I'm strongly considering Cidly because of the custom spectrum.... Just posted on the China LED thread for opinions :

Hey guys,

For a 0.9x0.5x1.6m tent I'm considering either

Cidly : Apollo 10 or Apollo 12

Mars : HydroII 400w or 700w

Thoughts:
Currently using CFL for veg. I think I can live with that.
Looking at spectrum more geared towards flowering/finishing (however not too dominant)
Swinging towards the Cidly as they have custom spec.
I want to get a light thats upgrade friendly if I move and get a bigger tent. You never know what happens ;)

Questions:
How much is too much?
I understand it's about lumens
Will too much light damage the plants (I know it's about height, but these guys all use lenses)
Cost/benefit : Am I going to be running extra wattage = power bills for no benefit? (Current grow is 4 autoflowers)
General opinion is the UV/Infrared is not needed however other sources says UV/IR helps for trichomes and oil potency (BROscience)

Spectrum's:
Below is extreme custom towards flowering - what are your thoughts?
660nm = 6
630nm = 2
610nm = 1
460nm = 3
430nm = 2
700nm = 1 (In the 700 range for IR)

Customer service rating..1-5: 5, quick replies from cidly, fast service

Wattage of the LED ( actual power draw if poss): 360w

Optics used : 90 degree

Build quality: Heavy duty, Strong chassis, not inferior knockoff parts

Warranty length : 3 years

Any noticeable plant deficiencies : None

Value for Money Rating..1-5: 5

Addition info : Very bright, powerful led's, decent size heatsink to dissipate heat and silent pc cooling fans. Top grade material. Heavy! This led unit is blinding in my tent! A scrog paired with the strong 90 degree beams would produce decent yields. Stays cool to the touch!

Great review Hairy Wizard my only criticism is that the fans are not silent my friend at least not on my Apollo 8 and for that reason mine is down the road .Other than that works perfectly .:tiphat:
