So a few weeks ago i decided to get into the cob game. @BigSm0 helped me with some configuration and parts at an awesome price. Well i finally decided to get to building. Here is a list of what I got for lights:
8 citizen version 6 1812’s
8 150mm heatsinks
8 bjb holders
16 ss screws
Thermal paste.
All assembled from Cobshop.net
2 HLG-185H-48A drivers

I got some 80/20 extruded aluminum from my work they were throwing away so thats what i build my frame out of. The aluminum is channeled so i was able to buy some washers and screws to make hanging/adjustable spacing cobs. Im going to post some pics of what i got so far.

Oh baby!! That’s bad ass!! I think I have a new favorite light. I’m over the moon excited to see the final masterpiece. Very crafty with the washers and bolts, perfect layout and just so darn clean.

I’m sure you know this but most extrusion have matching slot covers that are perfect for hiding wires. Time consuming but worth it. I hope every active member gives you max rep for this!

@BigD1128 yea I will be doing a grow journal when my current run is finished and I get my room cleaned up.
I didn't know they had covers for the wires so I will look into that. I don't know how it will effect the adjustable aspect of the light though.
Thank you all for the support. I'm going to try to install drivers tonight. I got a couple of wire bars that I will be using to split connections for a nice clean professional look. Stay tuned!!
