Lighting Citizen 1825's?

Their max is 2760ma and 140w. The other models like the 1818 and 1825 are rated much higher. I wouldnt be the least bit concerned about 75w

Yes, that! It's only ~50% of their power. So no worry.

I have two 1825s that I run at 1400mA or 70W. 90cri 3000k, I think I need to space them a bit further from the canopy next grow. Considering upgrading from a meanwell HLG-185H-C1400B to a HLG-240H-54B to allow them to run at 120W each with over 50% efficiency. They don't put out very much heat at 70W but 120W may be a bit much with the lack of an exhaust in the grow space.

I haven't tested any other brands of cobs but I'll say that if you're thinking about building with citizens, go for it, they are great high quality chips that seriously put out a lot of light. You can get the 1825 for $40 and the 1212 for $10

I'm still perfecting growing as I have only harvested a few plants but I am sure once I throw an autopot under these cobs with a good quality medium, their potential will really start to shine.

At what distance did you have them? And what do you now reccommend? What was yield?

I ran them closer to 12" than 24" through most of the grow and had them as close as 7-8" in during flower. I'm not sure what effect this had on them. I think other factors kept the yield from being higher. But with the 1212s over OG kush, I've kept them a good 24" away mostly and they are thriving.

Heres a red poison I just harvested under the 1825 3000k 90cri

And blue amnesia is much bulkier than the red, nice dense nugs:

Nothing wrong with that! Best thing to do when figuring distances is to do your best to read the plants. It's hard for them to tell you they want more light but it's easy to read they have to much.
