PH is king!

Anyways, clay pellets are reuseable for many years with zero problems, it's easy!

After your harvest let the pellets dry out. Prepare 50/50 mix water/vinager, dump in pellets and let sit a couple hours or days.

Rinse and soak in ph treated declorinated water.
In a day or two drain and repeat

By now the vinager is diluted enough but you still need to stabilize the PH of your pellets. Check daily till stabilized. When the PH stays at about 6 drain and dry however you like. I like air drying then finishing in an oven on 200* or so for an hour then bagging up.

It's a little work but doesn't cost much. There's also some mix that General Hydroponics makes that cleans, it's expensive, considering.

This is just the way I do it from trial and err. If you don't take care of your pellets and try to reuse them they become toxic to roots lol.
