Hello everyone. I apologize if this has already been covered. I am bored so I’d like to design a COB set up for 2 Citizen CLU048 1212. I have a 32”x32” tent and was curious what the best spacing between COB would be for 1-2 small autoflowers. I will not be filling the tent with plants. Thanks!

Lol no make it 200 watts per square foot.

It’s under what you would need to light the entire space but probably good for 2 small plants. One cob over a single auto will do pretty darn good. 2 over 2 plants will do even better. 50wpsf is insanity

That makes sense. I am a very casual smoker. I pretty much grow for the hobby of it. Growing 2 plants at a time would prob be too much for me. I have acquired a decent seed collection. Can’t wait to get to my new spot and start growing again

You should do real well and with 2 cobs and will not have the burdens of heat and energy consumption. When people throw 4 cobs in a 3x3 space they generally don’t need any cooling and the 220 watts has almost no visual impact on their light bill. Growing is fun at that point. It’s a job when you have to install mini-split ac’s and quest dehumidifiers.

Sounds like you are speaking from experience with the mini-splits and dehumidifiers. Haha

50w per Sq ft is the general rule for photos. Autos get more light thru flower than photos, so you can reduce the amount. How much? I don't know...

I'm currently setting up a 4x4 tent with cobs, am planning on 3 rows of 3, or 450w. That has me @ 28w per sqft, I'll probably add 4 more around the middle to bump me up closer to 40w per Sq ft. Might just make me feel better, but it's hard breaking old habits.
