100% coco in 3 gallon smart pots, plants ~2 weeks old and healthy, temps and rh in good range.
Confusion- i have read so many coco posts on how to water/feed. Some say treat like soil and let 1st inch to get flaky. Some say dont and water everyday. Some say 10-20 % run off everytime.
Some say nutes every feed while others say feed one day nutes and only ph'd water the next.
Completely confused- the good the plants are green and healthy but may ne a little short.
After watering 2 days ago here is an example pic- would you water or would you wait ?????

Looking back maybe i should have added perlite to coco
Plenty of people add Perlite, plenty of people don't add Perlite in coco. I'm changing to rice hulls next run. I changed from 5 gallon smart pots to 3 gallon smart pots and I give them a quart to a quart and a half of water roughly every other day weather dependent.

I think they ideal of watering/feeding everyday is to get hydro like results, (I know growing in coco is considered hydro). I'm just finishing up my 2nd coco grow, so I'm still learning too. I've done every other day during veg and daily during flower with good results on my first grow. My current grow I've done feedings 4 times a day during flower. I have also heard to always add nutes when watering, but I've had to use straight water because my girls were getting too much nutes and I didn't see any negative effects.

Hey there, does the pot appear to have some weight still or feel light? I give nutes at every feeding, no plain water until last 7-10 days of life...no need to use plain water in coco,it's basically like using hydro with a nice buffer, but coco won't retain nutes...so allows for feeding at every watering...The thing about coco you want provide everything, so she not have def...you not want to wait or def to be shown, I say keep a very strict ph and ppm and it will go very smooth... I use brick coco with 15% perlite mix. I precharge coco..
