Yes I going to get some Alcohol. Tried with everclear ended up with a sticky goo and water a lot as well.

So the gummiesare great. They could taste better. I assume it is the plant material giving it a little funk. Will the Iso Alcohol process make better tasting product?

Maybe. Apparently, while alcohol has the advantage of extracting most of the cannabinoids, it also extracts a lot of other things like chlorophyll and tannin, which isn't very pleasant. Don't let the herb soak too long in the alcohol, just a couple of minutes is probably enough.
