Hi guys! :)

I wanted to check with you guys about a medium pH problem that i am sure i will run in to in the future if i don´t start to adjust now already. I have been having some problems with pH when growing indoors before. I grew with a Perlite, vermiculite/organic peat based soil mix.

I have a 40/40/20 coco/peat/vermiculite medium mix now. What pH do you think that i should go with when growing in this mix? When i fert and water i am aiming for 5.5-6.0 now. Is that still too high? Should i lower it even more?

I don´t have access to a pH meter. I just have a basic pH tester. You know the ones with the test tube, drops and colour chart you know?

With peat based soil a 5.8-6.5 pH is good, and with coco i guess a 5.0-6.0 pH would be good.

Have a great day mate. /F.

Ok, i thought the coco should drag down the pH, but it get it now. The peat soil is still there and it should get 6.0-6.5 pH seems resonable. Thanx namvet! :)

/H.
