Extraction Coconut Oil Infusion with Magical Butter Machine

I have ran batches at 1.5 grams of bud per ounce of coconut oil. (36g/24ozs).
That seems ideal but I'm gonna up my game a bit and try 1.75 grams per ounce of oil. I also use powdered lecithin as an emulsifier at 1 tbls per ounce of coconut oil.
I decarb the gently cut up buds at 240F for 50 minutes.

Just curious what your ratios of bud to coconut oil are?

I use 28 g buds to 16 oz coconut butter. I decarb at 240 but only about 28 minutes.

I tried a batch of coconut oil last year and accidentally set the oven to grill not bake and vaped all the cannabinoids xD haha. It made a nice toast spread or rub for joint pain. Haven't tried since, soon enough I'll get some lethicen and a jar of oil and go for round two. I'll pop back in then for some chat.

Just did a batch a few weeks ago. Same as Dudeski 28g bud to 16oz oil, but 250° for 30-45 mins. Sunflower lecithin 2 tablespoon per 28g of bud. That's what the magical butter website said to do, and it worked well.

For me I start at roughly, 1/1.5g cannabis to 1 gram of oil.
At those ratios a dose for me is .5/.75g coconut oil caps.

I don't use lecithin as the coconut oil contains its own MCT's

I just follow the MB recipe for max strength. They recommended the lecithin so i used it. It sure makes a wicked cookie!

I can no longer recommend Magical Butter Machine

I bought mine in 2015. Used it less than 10 times. It developed the dreaded handle crack that is well documented as an issue online. Bad plastic. Faulty manufacturing.
I have been told I'm out of warranty. Nothing they can do but offer me another at a discounted rate of $99.

This should be a recall with say a 5 year window in my opinion considering they know it's their fault.

I've also learned that the MBM2e is a glorified soy and ricemilk maker. Look there for a less expensive unit that does basically the same thing.
