Completely new to everything!

Hello!
I’m very green to green! growing to help family with some serious health issues.

Greenhouse growing, water only.
Gorilla glue, Candy Kush and Hindu Kush autoflower from growers choice.

I started in small containers and transferred to 3 gallon nonwoven containers about two weeks ago. All plants are about a month old save for the 1 week old seedling because I thought some were dying.

Goal is enough to make some butter for edibles. I’ve only smoked once in my life. If I like what I grow I’ll happily go all-in!!!

Anyway, no idea if these are healthy or stunted. They started to flower last week.

You've made a good start. Your plant survived to this stage and it looks healthy. So You'll be able to harvest some bud at least
Can you tell us a bit more about what gear (soil, coco, feed, pH meter or not and so on) you are using?

heya @greeninNY and to afn! to answer ur ques whether they're healthy or stunted, the answer is actually -> both, lol they do look like they got stunted somewhere along the line, as they should be more branched out & leafy by this time, buuuut, they do currently look happee & healthy, so... tbh, i've actually been goin thru the same damn thing with my outside autoz this year, grrr long story short, they won't yield much, but they will yield enuff for good sampling purposez & that'z good nuff for me :smoking: anyhoo, best canna site on the web here & anything u need, jus give a holler

I don’t have anything but the sun and water for this first grow-I don’t have the greenest thumb, and this is absolutely a trial run. There’s a lot more I can mess up after and if these grow!

if all goes well with the trial run, I’d certainly consider diving in much deeper. I want a “base” to learn from so I don’t question how I broke additional steps such as ph and nutrients etc etc. I mean, it took me a day or two to figure out they were flowering!!! Haha!

Another welcome to AFN... don't worry, some of us old stoners grew in much worse crap and still got hooked on growing.
Keep it simple and conservative in feeding, understand watering and learn patience...... all will be good.

You found the right place.. pretty much all I use on the net lol .
Now that you’re here I’d start your self a thread for the rest of your grow or next one, you can go in live stoners and talk to the community for picking strains somebody may be going threw same issues and have good recommendations for you. Plus anyone here will help get ya cranking on your first 3-4weeks (important time in autos) I recommend blues method.. simple works wonders on starting...

i added a measured cup of water roughly 1.2 times a week. My guess is the original containers were too small and didn’t drain. I’ve noticed a lot of growth (5petal leaves vs 3 petals) in the new larger & better draining containers. But then again, I don’t know if that’s normal to start with three petals and then get 5.
im noting what I’ve done and roughly when I’ve done it so I can try to figure out single variables to change. if i change a whole bunch I wouldnt know what made the impact.

Pretty normal, first seed busting leaves are singles , then some true leaves show(start taking MJ shape) those are usually 3 then 5...
A bunch of growth patterns and other variables.. I’ve had sativa take right over from hot temps...
Thing I’m playing with now throws all kinda weird leaf patterns and mutations

Grows like you said then pumps out indica leaves for a bit.. and blam crazy look skinny finger sativa I’ve counted I think 13 fingers on leaves before, had some this run do all long skinny fingers with a short one in the middle looks like a reverse fuck you lol

That’s all genetics I had seeds from same company and one had all single fingers looked hilarious great for stealth

I see twigs and stuff, I’ve used similar soil before worked and didn’t... when it didn’t it was near the end and cause a shit ton of problems mould and such cause the wood took on some sort of fungi.. pick it out as you see it maybe it’s what I did.. the soil looks like it could use a lot mor perlite also. Maybe pick yourself up some promix for your next run. Stuff is great.
Doesn’t sound like overkill on water..
what’s outside conditions like? Is it a full sun plot? There is also an infirmary section on here.. I’d post there pronto if I were you, the
