DIY Cool tube parts

Thought i would post this for the canucks of the site.

If your looking to build your self a cheap cool tube XScargo has tons of round glass vases for $10

They measure 23.5" x 5.75"

Just get a glass shop to cut the end off for you and away you go :thumbs:

Is this safe, will it handle the heat? Just dont want it shattering in the middle of the night.

I swear i posted a reply to this a long time ago...lol

The old vases that they carried handled a 250w hps no problem but anything over that i wouldn't chance it.

XScargo haven't sold those good ones in a while and only sell a thinner version that would shatter in a heart beat.
