Bud he will ship to UK, but your shipping will be insane. Autocob are the best bet for a few reasons but see what shipping will be. I will never recomend another light over an autocob, but location is key. Just move to US and you got nothing to worry about lol. If you buy enough autocobs @BigSm0 will put you up I bet hahaha.

I don't consider the price of the 6 Autocobs I have from www.cobshop.net as "crazy". They are an excellent, consistent and quality build from user BigSm0. They do their job very well.

I could start using the .99 cent eBay cobs but you guys would have better luck with cfl’s.

Hey after these units myself any idea if they ship to UK? site has no Info on it
I cant see anything about uk delivery

He/she might be from outside US, may have thought was in Euros lol. Of course it's cheaper if you build your own, that's why people diy.
No i can see the dollar sign but even if it was euros ( im in scotland so we use GBP anyways) that would still be kinda expensive for what is essentially just a cob, a heatsink and a transformer!
Just an opinion!! ✌

Is starting to look costly [emoji26] running CFL at the moment does the job ok. Moving to the US would be ideal but don't think I'd get through VISA/immigration [emoji107]

It's pretty much the cost of cobs though. If you want more watts or more coverage it cost. His prices are right around what timber or rapidled would cost even if you build everything. Quantum Board set up would be cheaper if you wanted an alternative led diy solution.

Are those cobs expensive in the US? They only cost £9.99 each in the uk for the 5th gen citizens and £13.99 for the 6th gen ones!

I'm in North East Lincolnshire mate I really like the results I've been seeing with autocobs wife's moaning about electric so a change will be needed for efficiency [emoji85]

Buying all the bits now to upgrade my grow in the new year after we've moved and I have more space.

It can seem expensive when you can get COB setups, and not the "driverless" kind, for half the price from China but you're looking at quality of parts and design which leads to a longer lifetime than something of unknown provenance (despite advertised claims, it's still "pot luck"). Like with many things, sometimes you have to pay more for a very good product, and in this case it's not one of paying over the odds just for a "name".
