New Grower CoTC Cash Crop Vipar LED's in a small tent :)

Very nice so far man, that thing is a beast :yoinks: Looks like the Vipar LEDs are working out well for you, I've got a "300w" one too that's been giving good results. Also got a COTC Cropical Fruit just finishing up... If I do another strain of theirs it will probably be this cash crop so interested to see how this turns out.

Thanks Hans, just been looking at your Cropical Fruit thread, can't wait for my thing to get it's arse in gear and show some juicy bud sites too. It's getting cropped tomorrow and I'll hopefully be able to get some more support in, it's getting a bit heavy to support itself already!

Well I've cropped her and added a few more lst/support wires to the main branches, nice to be able to see enough to do it now the bush is thinned! She seems to have liked it and I'll keep doing the same since there's no secret way of slowing her down a bit that I've missed :)

Hard to see in pic but I took a carrier bag full of leaves off!

Seems to have slowed her down to an inch a day :)

very awesome grow man!

I am definitely going to leave more space between plant and LED next grow. I'm still in the MH / HPS set of mind that closer is better so long as heat is kept down. Also definitely going to angle the LED's and just go for a single plant next time round... especially with NFT.

With my current grow, even though they are both the same strain (Diesel C99), they are definitely different phenos, and one has developed about 1-2 weeks ahead of the other, meaning i'm now growing one of my plants a bit longer than I would have liked to just to wait for the other one to mature more.

Once again epic looking plant, and helped me make the decision that my next NFT grow will deff only be 1 plant, however maybe introduce a scrog + lolipoppage action.

Just been looking at yours too, I'm excited to see the reflector panels in action :)

I did scrog the first two grows with two in the tent, both times the plant at the back of the tent was way better than the other one so I decided to see what one could do on it's own just with lst and leaf cropping to control it.
I set the grow tent up originally basing everything on what I read online and a couple of hps growers I know so I expected tall plants but tbh both scrogs have taken way to long to reach the scrog net at 8" and when they did they were big thick branched bushes already. I now know I need to start the scorg/lst much earlier under leds, also that height isn't the worry under leds! I'll only do scrog now if I want to squeeze 2 plants into the tent.
Of course all depends on the yield from this one and what new lighting ideas I can dream up, atm it's looking like a 3 rails of 3 x bloom low power cob spotlamps on three sides of the tent which I'm calling "Project Overkill" :)

Bilbo that's a fine looking grow you got there. You can be proud of what you have done so far. I also have recently got a Vipar unit and am well impressed. The girls seem to love it.
Am i right in thinking you use Vitalink? I tried the soil (or Earth) version and was not too impressed, but you seem to be doing well.
Top job my friend. eP.

Thanks bro, it's blown me away how she's grown under the Vipars. I got the Vitalink nutes because I live in a hard water area and even though I only fed my first grow bloom nutes by accident (noob!) I still got a decent harvest so I'm just using them 'til they run out. Might try plant magic+ range when I run out. The Vitalink stuff is strong as f*@k so I use 1/2 to 2/3 dose max :)

Little update, got the scrog net on, mainly 'cos it's getting like a puppet show in there with the wire plant supports so I'll use the net for support and a little LSTing.

Sodding wind changed and it rained yesterday so tent temps got down to 18.5 and reservoir to 18c plus the tap water PH dropped in acidity, what a fricking treat lol!

Anyway, here's a pic of day 47 of what is supposed to be a 70 day grow, guessing closer to 90 now with my goat like cropping skills!

Now that's a beautiful looking plant you got there Mr. Baggins! My first grow I just MH/HPS but now i'm on LED and lovin' it! Right now I only got one ms0006 for my 6 autos but I'm gonna spring for a new one and your Vipars seems pretty dang nice.

I'm waiting for the new GN panel to arrive but I just might pick up a Vipar led before that and give it a go since I need another light pretty soon...

Keep up the kick ass work!!
