Hi, don't post much but follow quite a few grows and what not on here, Ive woke up this morning and my plants seem a little bit droopy. I had to move them out of room yesterday to do a bit of work in there, things were getting a bit scruffy, I was wondering if maybe I have shocked them or something. My first grow, growing auto ultimate, auto extreme, starryder and think different. AU is 20 days old, AE 17, Td 16, and SR 15.
250w MH, gonna switch to 400w today.
very light nutrient feed started, haven't been watered in atleast 36 hours so I can't see it being over watering. Pots don't feel heavy or too light, soil on top is dry but 1" down still damp so just leaving for moment. Any help would be very appreciated.

Marty.

There's 3 pictures there, they just seem to have uploaded twice! Sorry about that.

Hi Marty! Welcome to AFN!

Seems to me like overwatering. Plants that age may not require watering for even as long as a week. It depends greatly on the size of the container. While air-pots dry quicker because of all the pruning holes, you seem to be using pretty big ones which is a probable cause for your problem. Go easy on the watering from now on. Wait until the pots are really light and you can lift them easily.

Otherwise we're looking great! :goodluck:

Loos like over watering or under watering.Did you take the pics just after the lights went on>?

Hi, thanks for advice, I thought it looked like over watering but wasn't sure, the SR, TD and AX are in 10l airpots and the AX is in a 15L airpot. The lights had been on for 15 hours, using 20/4 light cycle. I've noticed that when the lights have been off they will go a bit droopy but seem to perk back up within an hour or so of them coming back on. But thanks for the info, I will hold off from watering for a while and see how they fair.

Cannabis likes a wet/dry cycle. When watering or feeding add enough water to get a 20%-25% runoff. Then lift the air pots to get an idea of how heavy the air pots are. At this stage growth; wait two days and then lift them. If they feel very light then water/feed with a 20%-25% runoff. As your grow matures the plants may need a wet/dry cycle sooner than later. We water/feed roots. Cannabis roots search for moisture. Let them do their thing. I find that when my girls get into FLOWER then they require a bit more wet/dry cycle. Right now my Nirvana Swiss Cheese "photo" is in the 4th week of FLOWER. She needs watering more frequently than when she's in VEG. Still she gets a good wet/dry cycle.
You've got a good grow going. K.I.S.S.

Growing cannabis is very easy. There is a web site http://www.growweedeasy.com that has a "steal our info" policy. Besides AFN member's help. This web site is just the best. Get their news letter too.

:smoke:Thanks Mikey, I had to get the wife to help my out of my head stand while looking at the first pics!

I'd also be curious to know what soil you are using. From the pics it looks like the leaves are a pretty dark green color and if so, coupled with the slight curling of the leaves could possibly indicate they are overfed a bit. If your soil contains amendments like worm castings, composted manure or guano, they may not need any supplemental feeding just yet.

Also, you mentioned you are switching lights today. Is the 400 watt an HPS or an MH? If it's HPS you might want to leave the MH until they finish vegging, usually around week 5 - 6.
