I bet he is running the 1818's. Tell us more man. Splayed heatsinks, actively cooled heatsinks and the last temp gun pic looks like an undersized passive heatsink.

Kind of a mish mash of components. The big light, the 4 corners are running cxb3590s 4000k passively cooled. The middle one is a 1212, 4000k but too much power for that heatsink, so I glued a fan on it using gasket silicone, also helpful for air movement I guess, keeps it plenty cool at full power, 1750ma. The strip light Im using cxb2530's 90cri 3000k wired in parallel so each one is getting about 450ma. Taking about 13 w more at the outlet than it was originally from cidly (aquabar) and heatsink stays cooler, obviously putting out a lot more light. :) The hanging heatsinks on a wire are using 1212's also, same color run at 1400ma, they get pretty warm, pushing what those heatsinks can handle passively. They are around 125f at the top, measured on the solid part and the hottest I can read on the chip itself is around 165f. Same current with a better chip Im guessing would bring that down a bit. Those single cob hanging lights would be great for small spaces and are super simple to assemble. Would be nice for a micro grow Im guessing.

So I replaced the light bar I had been using for my plants at work (cidly aquabar 90cm drawing 43 watts at the wall) with this rebuilt one using cree chips (56 watts). My phone has a lumen measurement app so I did a little test before I swapped them. Lumens measure from surface of my desk using old light, moving phone around to find the brightest spot I could was about 1900 lumens. When I put the new light in same location it measured over 11000 lumens! I know its not an apples to apples comparison, but Im still impressed...
