Has any one else ever grown a mutant onyx auto. Been running some onyx for the first time. Well I got one crazy mutant that is sporting extreme crinkling and distorting in at least two leaflets on each leaf and to top of that many leaves are even numbered!!!
Ive seen the crinkle mutancy in some of my former blueberry cross photos I used to grow and its a known mutancy in blueberry. but never to this extent. usallly these plants were also runts and didnt yield.
This one however is the biggest onyx in the patch at 27" at 8 weeks. I didnt pollinate it because It was growing as a stunted plant when I was chucking. but it came forth hence.. its got a branch sativa structure going to be a 11 or 12 week plant and not too resiny yet...
with mutant you always hope you get the holy grail.. maybe mutancy will cause outrageous thc production or something. Im am allittle put off by the even numbered leaves. damm plant doesnt know its not supposed to do that and be a cannabis plant.
sorry no pictures I am still concerned about online security .. and i dont have a digi camera any way.. spent all the money on seeds.
I will post again after harvest with info if resin production was affected by mutancy... kind of a long shot. I will still get a few seeds if its a keeper due to crossover pollination.
