Light (kind and schedule):

Twin Sunmate CFL 1 x 250w ‘Blue spectrum’ bulb 1 x 250w ‘Red spectrum’bulb was on 24/0 throughout the entire grow. The reason for this was that temps external to the tent fell below freezing at times during weeks 1-4. Worked light closer over time. 18” at germination down to 1.5” from tops of plants before harvest.

From seed to harvest date: 99 days from seed

Dry Yield: 45g smoking grade bud. 15g popcorn that went for hashish.

High/Effect Duration:
Deceptively strong and dreamy. You can be away in the clouds for quite a while.

RATE SCALE: * bad to ***** good

BAG APPEAL: ****

The well developed buds have really tight nuggets. These buds look very peach/orange because of all the pistils. The nugs hidden beneath are green glazed with very fine crystals. Less well developed buds more airy.

THE GROWTH:****

Grew well. Stretches and more difficult to manage with LST and get an even canopy. Needed 90 day plus grow time.

THE SMELL: ***

During early cure it smelt strongly of Cheese/Catpiss. Not to my taste. Now it’s cured more into a more orange taste. This strain is sold on its taste/odour and for me that has disappointed.

THE SMOKE: ****

Burnt well in a head. Soft. Can take big hits.

THE HIGH: *****

Dreamy daze. Bit easy to get lost.

Summary: An attractive plant that grew me nice amounts of good strength weed, which has a very dreamy quality to the high. However it is marketed on its taste and it hasn’t lived up to that for me this time. I will enjoy my smoke but not grow her again. I prefer the Dinafem Fruit which I will regrow, they seem to to have very similar physical characteristics but she impressed me much more with taste and odour.

Good report. I have some cropicals on the way. I too was attracted to the published taste of the strain. I have heard that one can have differing results from the same strain. Hopefully that will happen. Thanks for all the valuable info.

Taste is entirely subjective, my catpiss may well be your mango. Looking back on her now my memory is the taste, and the really dreamy high. Good luck
