Just bought myself a bucket for like $10 to store all this goodness inside it.

Has anyone ever cured using buckets instead of jars?

It seems easier as you only need one hygrometer inside it. Instead of splitting it into several jars.

Is the bucket one of those that are food-grade?
"Check the recycling symbol on the bottom of the bucket.
The quickest and most reliable way to check for food safety is by consulting the recycling number. This number will be between 1 and 7 and will be stamped inside a triangle of arrows. As a general rule, the numbers that are safe for use with food are 1, 2, 4, and 5.
The best type of plastic for use in long-term food storage is high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is indicated by the “2” symbol. HDPE is one of the most stable and inert forms of plastic, and all plastic buckets sold specifically for food storage will be made from this material."

I keep bees and was told to strictly use this grade (2) of bucket for honey storage. The folks who told me this said the other grades of plastic may release odors which will affect honey.
You could use it for curing, I imagine some big growers do so. Sometimes the snap-on bucket lids are hard to get off the bucket. They sell adapter lids so you can just unscrew the lid.

I just started last grow to use Derek Gilman automated curing buckets. I cant burp 15-20 jars a day, so I set these up and did better than I could have.

Here is my last journal where I put them together if you want to take a look. It's more for growers that deal with lbs, but you can scale down if you like. I just did the 5gal because I could find smaller containers I liked. Stay lifted.
