Lighting Cxbs and this heat

bearing in mind that I used hps before I'm now useing 9 cxb 3590 3000k 90cri.
My tent hit 36.5 today and my mephisto autos didn't seem to mind. Normally I get spiky leaves at 29-30* with hps but 36* and not phased.
Anyone know why this would be, maybe the intensity vs heat maybe I don't know.
Just an observation I thought I'd share

HPS has (more) IR so temp at leaves is higher. With COBs it's lower, that's why plants look okay.
I have 31-33°C in tent... more than 30 days... and plants love it! Temp at leaves is 25-26°C.

My 90cri cxbs seem to give off a fair amount of ir if you hold your hand under admitted not as much but more than I was expecting. My temp was in my pot with the baby lol

I'm pretty sure @KonopCh has the right of it. I do think HPS has a good bit more radiated heat; I also keep my COBs a bit further away than the HPS fixture. That is what makes me think the plants accept what looks like a higher temp.
This is all speculation, I would have to set-up the HPS stuff again and take measurements to be sure.

I to keep my cobs high 30-36 inchs without reflectors as the intensity with reflectors seemed way to much

i have 2 diys one is 3070 cree (same as yours)) other is citizen 1212) both are on meanwell 185.. My tent temps are around 5-7c higher than enviroment... Temps are ranging from 30-33c..But my girls doesnt like that at all.. Tent is 1x1x2m.. Cobs are hanged on the tent poles, i have maad negative pressure plus outtake hose is outside of window..

With the cooler weather my room isn't going more than 1-2* over ambient now with cxb3590 and 2 Samsung boards

I cannot figure it why.. maybe power adapter for fans arent strong enough.. I dont but its really frustating..

Can you dim them? I find at 50w each it's to hot and I have 6 inch L1 rvk. I dim to around 100w into each bar of 3 and heat is easier to manage

No i dont have a dimmer..
My buddy build it up for me...
And he moved out to another country..
