My plants are doomed. The roots are not stained... they are brown from root rot... fantastic. Not sure how i will continue from here..

Dude ok finally listen to me the sm 90 will bring them back. I dunno how u mixed it. But start using two liters or something to keep your temps at 70 . put insulation around your buckets . my guess light getting in. Then add the sm 90 with a new set of water. Add some root regenerator in there and leave em alone for awhile

I had a faulty ph-meter. The girls have been given a ph of 7 for their whole life. So what I have is a boron deficiency. I bought a brand new PH meter only for this Grow but it was incorrect with 0.8. So instead if 6.2 it was 7.

Boron Deficiency
Problem: A boron deficiency in cannabis is relatively rare unless a plant is underwatered or in a really dry environment, and is usually accompanied by other types of nutrient or pH problems that appear as problems with the leaves.

The first signs of a cannabis boron deficiency is abnormal or thick growth tips along with brown or yellow spotting on new leaves.



With a boron deficiency, upper cannabis leaves display abnormal and/or slowed growth. Growing tips may not grow properly, may display twisted growth, and may die off. New leaves may wrinkle or curl.

Plant roots can also be affected by a boron deficiency, showing unhealthy or slow growth. Stems may become rough or hollow. Boron deficiencies are more likely to appear when a plant is underwatered or experiencing very low humidity (very dry air).

A plant with a boron deficiency may look like it has a calcium deficiency because boron is needed for the plant to properly use calcium. New growth is affected the most, and may look like it's been burnt or scorched. A boron deficiency is often accompanied by an apparent potassium or nitrogen deficiency, as these nutrients are needed for the plant to use boron.


So, my roots are unhealthy, new growth twisted, and the girls were growing slowly.
All this because adwa ph meter was broken straight from shop.
I remember when I calibrated it, that it showed 0.8 different then my old one... but ofcourse I have to believe the new pen. Tested the pen against a brand new probe today and it showed 0.8 wrong as well.

What do you say, am I aloud to replace my Girls? I allready have girls popped up, Big Bud from seedstockers. Just need to switch. I always toss when something goes wrong. I hate small plants.
If I'm not allowed to switch, you win as I throw in the towel.

Grow on brother . I wish u could save them . Put what u need to in there. And buy a chemical ph test with a vial in case your shit breaks again. We both learning brother .

Those will come back strong!! look what mine came back from. My roots were slimy and worse than yours I washed them in a 10% bleach and water but peroxide is meant to be better but I didn't have it. By the time I was finished not much roots were left but I dipped what was left in some beneficial bacteria GREAT WHITE. Cleaned whole system including piping with same bleach solution. Then ran clean water through my system twice. One didn't make it so I replaced(the small one)
Ten days later the roots are white and looking good.
So there's always hope brother you can do it[emoji4].
I'm a noobie so if I can do it anyone can.
