Dark brown spots on leaves - late stages - no deficiency

Thank you all for your replies. I was and still am fighting off aphids. Thus the mix.
I have been able to smear it off so I guess that's good!

Ugh. Aphids. I've heard they don't like garlic. Little vampires. I hate bugs. Have you tried any other ways to get them to leave your plant(s) alone? I haven't had any bug problems myself yet, but I think a lot of people use neem oil for aphids. Its supposed to have a similar smell to garlic actually. Are you able to get any neem oil and see if using that instead makes the brown spots stop?
