Hey just wanted some other eyes on this, Will insert pics here and edit soon.

I have a Magnum in a 4ish gal container at day 50, she has been short but very hearty growing, but growing the "traditional" auto pheno, main cola and a couple (4-5) satilite bud sites. But she went from praying the Chessus, to curling and turning a bit purple.Wondering if because of her height she is just finishing soon or a deficiency issue. I took as many pics as I can:

Overall pics:

(From the bottom) I think this is just a old leaf,

But here is where I am concerned it mostly affects the outer leafs

All other tech specs will be on the next post!

Thanks for all your help in advance!

not sure if I'm allowed to put a link in here for picture of defiency, but I found a pic that looks very close to the way your plant looks.
Phosphorus Deficiency

not sure if its a issue your having but if you clik the picture of the plant from the link its a good read:pass:

My quick 2 cents... Looks much like there might be some root issue; Is there any bad odor coming if you try to smell the soil? Certainly looks as if there is a serious lockout of P but there are signs of multiple other problems, including Mg defiency and N toxicity that really leads me to believe the problem is in the rootzone, rootrot / pH issue or something. Hope someone like Waira would have time to check this one out; Post it to live help channel.

Thanks @MedGrower ! Still trying to figure it out, 1 girl I had, had issues with P but checked the PH on my BBK (which they are all they same media and feed) but is about to harvest and same PH 5.5 in 6.0 on the dot on Run off with 10%. I made a batch of Nutes with 3/4 feed strength JIC in a couple days when it is ready.

Il Space Papa!! :smoking: What's good, mate? ...okay, let's start with pH--as always! You're in soil, so the best pH range for that is mid-low 6's; get near 7 or more, and Fe locks out fast,... below 6, and P starts to lock out, and I think that's what happening here,.. that color burnishing is a typical mild symptom-- not always, petioles and leaves can get some color for other reasons, but I don't think Mag' is known for her color,...the feeds are likely why-- too acidic! they should be going in at about 6.5,... ac vinegar works, but it's not very "durable", so pH tend to drift back up, which in this case, is okay,... you need to get the in-soil pH up to spec! You might do well to flush with plain ol' tapwater, not a heavy one though, meaning 3x the pot volume,... do you have a soil probe pH device? I'm sure I barked at you to get an Accurate 8! :eyebrows:.... I dislike the run-off method because of it's many potential sources of measurement error,... there is an improved method, found in a sticky article here at the Infirmary, near the top,... check it out, and maybe first, if you don't have that A8 unit, try this run-off test method, and let me know what you get,... mind the instructions carefully! How we fix the acidity will depend in part, on what your soil pH really is,...fortunately, you have lots of perlite (more than is needed in fact), so drainage will be faster...

din, there's a much better defc. pic thread right here, two of them in fact... one with pics mostly (Quick and dirty Defc. pic depot..), best used in conjunction with the other text heavy one (Self Diagnose your plants...),... stop sending people off site to GWE please,...

@Waira My man! Good just trying to figure out this girl and hopefully this should be my last run of soil. I am switching ouver to Coco after this harvest, do A8 work in coco? Roots org has giving me to many consistency issues over the years.
I figured it wasnt a good thing turning purple, unless someone from Herbies seedbank said "F it, not my job today" LMAO and all went into the wrong bags.

Unfortunately I am out of DI or RO water to do that method, But I did something similar to the BBK(with ph plain water) since they have the same media and 5.5 in 6.0 out = New method 6.5?
If you need need DI water I can go to the store and grab some but would have to wait till tomorrow.

An sorry didnt mean to lewave you out brudda thanks @din5 !

np waira
wont do it again,

Ahhh, coco is becoming a fav' among former soil growers, often, for that very reason,... do lots of homework my friend, coco is not true soil, and has peculiar CEC properties,... hence, the specifi nute' line some companies offer,... not absolutely necessary to use them, but for beginners, it might be easier on the steep learning curve coco has! read up on site, and off,... one place I've not read up at yet, but is reported to be very good, is Canna, as in the coco company, (.com),... google coco and CEC, and some other good ones will come up,... Truu has a good guide here as well,... buy the good stuff if you can, less hassle pre-treating it,...you'll see! yeah, the A8 will perfect for that too! .... purp's can come out in many strains, not just famously colored ones; sometimes from cool weather, or mild P defc.,, sometimes the two are connected (poor P mobility in cold),... I'm thinking, if I've seen Mag. with some color, but I can't quite recall,.. in any case, do what you can... i think the need for DI/RO water is to get an unbuffered reading from the soil,.. adding in water with sufficient buffering minerals, will skew the readings,... do you have a 3-5gal jug? those self-fill dispensers give low PPM water,...

....:toke: thanks din'!
