Great point all us Americans can do is wait! I think they would see a up in sales if they made a 120v unit but you know companies can only move so fast.

Question is, why doesn't one of the American LED manufactures/re-branders make a similar or better light?????

.....or why doesn't a smart investor, say da geezer in Omaha, get involved and get GN out in the fast lane??????

@corgy:tiphat:because all the investor's are seeing star's in front of there eye's and investing in grow factory's,dispensery's, testing lab's and the such. not enough smoker's have thought it out that the cheapest and best way is grow your own:smokeit:the fedral government has already stated that if cannabis is legalized they want a 50% tax :face:on to of the 30% the state's want. can you imagine the cost of a zip under that heavy a tax:crap:so in time, serious smokers will grow there own:Cheers:

My hs1 came today its well made was surprised @ the size of it.I have a mars 144x3 reflector and had it next to it switched it on and you could see the hs1 footprint through the mars one if that makes sense not a proper scientific test i know..for the standard reflector it covers my small 1mx.5 nicely.

But surely all the players in the States of America, including the ones like us, could do with GN light or similar, let alone the winter artichoke and tomato brigades.......!

Aye, taxes..... Not to worry, this forum would shut down if it wasn't for those and everybody would get their botanicals in Walmart.... All the breeders, like all the micro-breweries would be corporate affairs in everything but name...... Quarterly stock market reports...... The botanical enforcement officers would be re-deployed to issue speeding tickets and nailing cyclist without lights and the occasional jaywalker ..... And the whole underground excitement would be bygone....... No more discussions about the merits of stealth shipping and the joy of receiving THAT package...... It's all for the best..... I think!!!!

I still recon someone should tip off da geezer in Omaha about GN...... I mean, I still don't know if I will be able to get daisy chain cables and lenses this decade....

MO TaNg, you are indeed correct, there is a tiny weeny little link under the t-pieces, my bad...... I will repent by taking the evening school navigation class......

Thanks

To be honest until there have been proper comparisons done to actually see how much more efficient the newer tech is than the older we are all just guessing.
my statement was based on energy consumption. And I'm not being critical really, just making the point that these lights are way beyond the means of the average person, and saying they'll "save money" in the long run is false. Based on price disparity, it wouls take me, at the rate/kwh I pay, compared to a unit consuming 150 actual watts. it would take 8 - 10 years to even reach parity
