Yeah, I got an offer on eBay from Marshydro of 200 euro for 2x300w reflectors..... Looks like inventory clean out.... The Sun series..... They have been banging on about that for a while...... So how come MO TaNg knows if true..... Maybe he, if not a she, knows about Shit like that..... Is MO TaNg a LED psychic...... Just saying!!!!!

And of course the sunny variety will come some documentation from Gordon Ramsey...... No doubt!!!!!!!

We are supposed to be getting Mars Hydro as a vender starting in March. Ijust hope that if we do it doesn't turn into another mine is better than yours thing.IT's like children fighting over there toy trucks.I have a new Mars 300 watt and a MS006 that I will be using shortly on my current grow. I will have a journal and show a few pics but i won't have enough plants to do a substancial grow evaluation but i'm sure both will do just fine.I won't be going into the power draw of one over the other because it really has no effect on the lights performance and i.m more interested in the par or light intensity being put out by the light because that's really all that counts. Most of the current lights on the market use the same diodes, fans, drivers, and heat sinks they are just put in different cases with different names. If I get three years of growing with my hundred dollar light that is all I ask and if I have on going problems and very poor grows I only lost a little time and not a lot of money and continue to try something else that will perform better.

I used to think it was all about how bright the light was now I know it's as much about the right spectrum, you can have a really intense light but if it's all green it won't do to well lol also when you think about light intensity you have to consider compensation points and saturation points....there is such a thing as to much light.

I hear you, but so far I can't see anyone turning this into a "mine is bigger than yours" sort of thing.

As to this will do fine..... Well, you're right if efficiency and cost is of no concern...... And I would think that Marshydro will be able to stand by their products in a competent manner and the forum vendors is not here for purely pecuniary reasons both ways.
All of course in a civil and reasoned manner.

You are totally right tang about having the right spectrums.I think the correct grow specs are pretty well known by now and most manufacturers will have those specs dialed into there units.I believe the old lights and fly by night sellers are getting weeded out and sooner or later only the manufactures who keep up with current technology and build a quality unit will be the only survivers .

Just out of curiosity......has any other LED manufacturer inquired about being a forum vendor (member)?......has the forum asked any LED manufactures to be a vendor(member)?.......are any LED manufactures represented on the forum via proxies.......and what exactly does it mean to be a "forum vendor" with the members that IS and "MAKE" the forum in mind?

I think the search is still on for the archetypal cannabis spectrum,if there were one all LED spectrums would copy it....don't get me wrong bro many are loosely similar but if you look at the ratios and narrow bandwidths you will see some big differences.
