DBC#2 day 21

DBC#2 is building herself up to some explosive growth. She is really having big fat short Indica leaves and quite a thick stalk

Seen from the top there is really not much lower growth to be seen. I haven't had her taken out recently as my 2 airpots just fits. It's like tetris game to have them in and out of there.
My plan was to let her grow out herself with no training. That part is skipped

When I tipped her to see what was happening below that umbrella I saw some little friends cry for help. Those leaves are so thick and robust that new growth don't know a way out. She needs a little help.

Action was taken and gently bending, with the hand of an angel, those big f*ckers below each other, the small ones were set free.

I'm prepared for some great growth from her too. I'm feeding her 2ml/L of both Grow and AlgaMic. She has also had 1 feeding of 2ml/L calmag, in hope to prevent the same deficiencies as her sister although it's a different soil. Unless she tells me otherwise, that will be her diet for the next 10 days.

Yeah, it's amazing. The lights are 90cm above her and she just gets fatter and fatter. I have forgotten how quick and fun it is to grow autos. Everyday something new.

In my opinion they are great value for money. Solid build.
It's still new to me. I have only flowered one photoperiod and grown one with 12/12 from start to finnish. The 12/12 from seed yielded 70g dry in a 7L pot and could have been more. The main cola got mold. No popcorn buds, so I will say the light penetration is good.
This is the first run with autoflowers and it's doing the job perfect so far.

Hi Andy, thanks. The fans are a bit noisy. If it's a problem you can buy some silent PC-fans and make the exchange. For me it's not a problem. It's in a closet, and with door closed, it's hard to tell if it's the refrigerator right next to the closet that makes some sound or... No one has ever mentioned anything. The heat is not a problem at all.

Good evening AFNs

DBC#1 has reached 48 days. Things are moving along as they should. She is quite happy with her diet. I added 2ml/L AN Overdrive to her feed 3 days ago which is still 3ml/L of Grow, Bloom, AlgaMic. Twice a week she gets AN CalMag Xtra too.

I have trimmed her by removing a lot of leaves. Did it 3 times with 1 day apart to get some light through her. They build so thick and dense leaves and just covers everything. Even with a lot of leaf tucking. She has maxed out with a total of 49cm and now the fun thing starts. She is getting frosty. Has a lot of bud sites. I really like her

DBC#2 acts the same way as #1 did. Massive big fat leaves covering everything. We have a daily battle of where we want them to be. She puts up a good fight, but I win this one. Some of the branches are now higher then the canopy. I'm really impressed by the AlgaMic so far. Really healthy leaves and I'm sure that stuff helped DBC#1 when she was suffering. The feed is still only 2ml/L of Grow and AlgaMic. I will ad Bloom with her next watering.

Short update. Both of them are doing fine. However DCC#2 has to fight for her space. Her older sister occupies around 70% of the grow space. I guess it would have been better to start them both at the same time or even let just one of them fill the space. I just had to get my fist Mephisto seeds in the ground as soon as there was a little space

DBC#1 is having the full packet as feed. Grow, bloom, AlgaMic, Overdrive and Calmag and handling it perfectly.
DBC#2 is on a diet of Grow, Bloom and AlgaMic. Calmag once a week.

DBC#1 day 52 and DBC#2 at day 32
