I had two auto blueberrys outdoors, and unfortunately they had mold. I cut them down, and cut off the mold. Then i put silica and the tiny buds in small baggie and put it ine the freezer. I have had it there for almost a week now.

Are they ruined, or can i take them out and air dry them? I get my dry tent tomorrow and i think i am going to put it up right away.

I am going to try to air dry them either way, so if i make a horrible mistake, please stop me then. :)

/H.

I'd only use it to make oil....but that's just me. How do you know you got all the mold off? My health is more important than a buzz, and I grow way more than I can smoke, so my situation may be different than yours. I am a "better safe than sorry" kind of person. I say grab some ISO and make some hash oil!

Without pics it's hard to say how bad it is but I'd tend to agree with Kpex on this one, make some concentrate with a solvent of some sort that will "cleanse" the bud as it is made... had the top colas on a Plushberry grow get moldy while drying, the best thing to do is get it bone dry immediately after noticing the mold, and then get to work making hash or oil...

I've found that a water cure is pretty effective at cleaning up moldy bud, with the added benefit of removing most of the smell and weed taste. After it's water cured I then use it to make oil.
