This is a Girl Scout Cookies Auto in the 4th week of veg. Quite a few leaves that are blocking light (some I've simply bent underneath). Thoughts? Thanks!

I would LST her at this point i thinks it is too early to defoliate.

yup, you can do some tugging and LST but dont cut the leaves she has. for week 4 i feel its a good size, keep it up!

Aye! Age old question. Pruning yes, I tend to lean this way on defoliation though. Its like a 10 minute read but well worth it.

Interesting read. Thank you!

very interesting, very different approaches - go all in, as well as do nothing at all!!! :)

thanks everyone!

I wonder how much of this is context-specific.

It makes sense that if you grow outside defoliation is likely counter-productive, I think where it gets greyer is when you move inside and how big or small your space is. In my little grow space, I need to defoliate(photoperiod) just to keep the air moving. So I get a yeild increase just because I don't loose plants to PM.

I wonder too if lighting would affect that too, if you have lights that give you a deeper PPFD sweet zone or do you have jsut enough to get the job done?
