This plant may be slow, day 27 and 9in, but it is growing and today she got a gallon of 5ml cal/mag grow and a half cap of superthrive at 6.6ph (soil still 6.5). I have put in support stakes but it will be a week before I need them. The bud sites are starting to develope and the color is good.

Day 29 and I have moved the cheese candy from the larger tent in with this plant and changed the led to the Mars 100X3w, the light is at 24in. Both plants have good color and some nice bud sites but have only started a real growth spurt. I think night temps (57-63f) may have been too cold and slowed growth. The plants are starting to use more water so I guess there is still time to get some good growth going.

Day 31 and both girls were ready for a drink with the larger (right) getting a gallon of 5ml grow big, 10ml big bloom and 10ml kangaroots at 6.5ph and the other getting a gallon of 4ml cal/mag grow and a half cap of superthrive at 6.6ph. The smaller (left) has the darker color and both seem to like the "new" led.

Day 35 and both plants got fed, the girl on the right got a gallon of cal/mag grow and a half cap of superthrive at 6.6ph, the other got a gallon of 4ml grow big, 10ml big bloom and 10ml kangaroots at 6.5ph. There has been little growth and I think it is time to admit my "Baldrick" moments; 1. Never should have taken these plants off 24/0 schedule, temp swings of 20+f too much. 2. Why did I start giving nutes so early? Dumb. 3. Once you stunt a plant more nutes won't make a difference. The leaf curl on the new growth means something but right now I think I will just smoke a joint and laugh at myself.

You will love the Mars, they are really great lights for the money. I dont do a lot of plants either, I just dont have the space and I like my plants to be able to stretch out on the sides Woops I use the Mars II models, but I've seen so many grows here on this website and a few others, and people are growing some amazing plants with the "old model" Mars.

This Mars old model led is doing a very good job and I will invest in the II series when I can afford it. Today both girls were ready so the one on the right got a gallon of 5ml grow big, 20ml big bloom and 10ml kangaroots at 6.5ph, the other got a gallon of 5ml cal/mag grow and a half cap of superthrive. The leaf curl seems to be getting better, maybe the water was too hot or cold, and the bud sites are developing ok, there has been almost no vertical growth so this weekend I will flush with sledgehammer and start bloom nutes.

Day 42 and I am not going to flush for bloom yet, both plants have grown about an inch and resin is not yet visible by the bud leaves. The plant on right got a gallon of 7.5ml cal/mag grow and a half cap of superthrive at 6.5ph and the other got a gallon of 5ml grow big, 20ml big bloom and 10ml kangaroots at 6.3ph. The color of the plant on right is slowly improving and both are getting some good bud development. The led is at about 14in and temps are ok at the plant tops, but I have the soil ph too high (6.7-6.8). One more feeding and ph should be ok and maybe I can get just a little more vertical growth.

Day 44 and after just two days the girls are ready for water/feed, was four. My acturate 8 tell me the soil for both is 6.5-6.6 and still the color difference. The one on the right has twice as many bud sites as the other, smaller leaves even different bud development. Both have the same smell, like a dirty sock that has been rubbed on a skunks' ass. The plants are 15in and 18in, about an inch in two days, so I gave them grow nutes again. The one on the right got a gallon of 5ml grow big, 20ml big bloom and 10ml kangaroots and the other got a gallon of 7.5ml cal/mag grow both at 6.4ph.

Day 47 and I have flushed both plants with a gallon of 10ml sledgehammer at 6.5ph and will follow with a gallon of 5ml cal/mag bloom in 12-24hrs. Resin is clearly visible in the plant on the left but I had to get a magnifer to see any on the bigger one. The plant in the three gallon pot is 15in and the 5gal pot is 19in. In about three weeks I will have my bigger tent empty and I might transfer these plants for there last few weeks of bloom and flush. The led is at 12-14in and is doing much better than the ufo135w.

Have just given each plant their first gallon of bloom nutes, 5ml tiger bloom, 30ml big bloom, 10ml kangaroots and 1/8tsp of beastie bloomz at 6.5ph. In about three days the girls should be ready for some cal/mag. I need to get a cal/mag without N, the tips might be nute burn.
