dazed and confused
Coming back to growing and half way through my first auto flower attempt. I have a couple of plants, a sweet cheese and a sweet dark devil. The cheese is an amazingly easy grow so far, it takes whatever I give and seems happy as a clam. Now the devil is much more mysterious, after day 27 she began to show a strange trait in that after about 13 or 14 hours her leaves get all droopy. So I figured that she was thirsty and began giving her a watering late in the day. But she didn't perk up right away, though after the lights out she looked marvelous again. So than I tried to give her a second drink each day before her leaves drooped, but alas she still got droopy. Thought of changing her hours from 18 to 12 that always seemed sufficient for my photo grows, but was afraid I would lose the magnificent growth that I am now witnessing. So now I am going to try just letting her droop late in the day and if she is all perky in the morning give her her feed at about the 11hr mark and see if she makes it through the day without a droop.
Now I know some of you have experience with this plant and thought perhaps some others had experienced this strange growth habit. I'm in
OF soil and using Blue Planet Farmers Pride organic nutes at 1/4 strength for every watering except when I give them a worm compost tea. Both plants are really beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the Sweet Seeds genetics, and I'm actually really enjoying this game of detective work trying to figure out just how to maximize their potential. Oh by the way I'm using 5 gallon smart pots and LED lighting (does anyone know what happened to GroBlue?).
