Oh hell yeah, I was debating on buying some but im kind of on a really small budget. Well ive spent around 300$ so far. But I still need to purchase a main lighting system, Im pretty sure im going to grab a 400w HPS and I also need to get an exhaust fan and a few other things likea PPM meter ect... But since I got these free and they are new and suposedly amazing im going to give em a try.

DAY 6 in soil

They are taking the transplant REALLY well. I already have some new growth. I stuck pen caps in next to the plant so I could see when they grow past it.. and they already have grown verticle a little bit. So the pen caps just made it an easy visual to tell they were growing. I have 4 others germinating right now they should probably be ready to plant in a day or so i would imagine. They are going directly into the foxfarm Ocean Forest soil. I wish I could start them in something not as hot but its all I have. Anyways Ill get some pics later today or tomorrow!

@stylez - nah FFOF is perfect for anything. I germ in it, transplant seedlings, UpPot in it, clone in it, etc. No worries on it being too hot.

@diamondflush - nice freebies, I was gifted both those by my shop as well... They definitely work, the Sweet is great and can be applied quite liberally every feeding... The Resinator is OK but kills most of the organic goodness/micro life in the FFOF so you must keep using synthetic chemicals and can't leave the soil to do its thing; when using FFOF you DO NOT need to feed any nutrients for first 3weeks,they are slowly released.... Resinator definitely requires a 2 week flush at end to remove the chemy taste it gives the girls. I used Resinator and Supercharge (their other product) and I preferred Supercharge, less lingering chemical taste with a proper flush. But since then have moved fully Organic, nothing flavors like good ole chicken poo, bat guano, worm castings, seaweed and molasses. All cheaper than relying on synthetics from them killing the micro soil life. Do use it since you got it but not until week 4, the girls will get some organic goodness beforehand.

I was also given some stuff called "Big swell" but the ROCK looked cooler so I decied to use it heh. Can start feeding the "sweet raw" now ??

Well they are looking healthy, im not sure if they should be bigger or smaller than these 2 are for day 6. But they seem to be alright after the transplant. A little growth but not alot. When do they really take off?

Sorry verano, but many folks have found FFOF to be too hot to start auto seedlings in. It is always best to start auto seeds in soil without any time-release nutrients. :smokebuds:

Im already seriously regretting using MG. Whats the earliest I can transplant them? I can go buy some FF ocean forest within a few days.

This is actually my second grow, my first grow I did well. Got them to a week before harvest but had to chop them down and lost all the product due to a family member finding out. But yeah I do have new grower anxiety heh. I had it lats time too.. once they get going ill be alright though... this is such an annoying part of growing is the seedling stage!

When I went to buy my FFOF soil today, I asked if he had any free samples and he hooked me up with some ROCK resinator heavy yield bloom nute... and botanicare "sweet raw" for flavor.

I've decided to go with "BIG SWELL" instead of the Rock resinator.

Sorry I got back to you late on the questions. I wish I would have caught you before you bought the Ocean Forest. Trust me on this... I have grown in all FF soil except Light Warrior. I even did a HUGE comparison grow using FF Happy Frog and FFOF side by side last year. Kindred is correct. Ocean Forest is VERY hot for Autos. Now you CAN get good results if you know how to adjust to this. It's a learning curve, especially for new growers... Granted it's WAY better than MG but you're still in the danger zone if you don't adjust. Here's some suggestions...

NO NUTES UNTIL SEX SHOWS! In FFOF you can go 3-4 weeks before giving them a single drop of nutes. Don't get over eager and start giving them nutes now on top of what's already in the soil. Keep in mind FFOF is "Pre-Ferted"... it has nutes already mixed in. SO again, each time you water you are releasing nutes. You burn an Auto early on you will get shit for yield. So take it easy bro. Let them DRY OUT good before you water again. When you do start feeding go 1/4 the recommended dose on the bottle and gradually up the dose each feeding. Rotate feedings... example, feed, straight water, feed, straight water, etc...

Are these the final homes now or are you transplanting again? If you are you can mix some perilite in with it to cut it down. Next time you start new seedlings I would either do 2 parts perilite, 1 part OF... or get something less hot like Happy Frog. But I would still cut that down as well. Meaning mix perilite in with it. Not trying to scare you or discourage you in any way friend. Or say you won't be successful... I'm just saying go easy with the nutes when the time comes and let them dry out good in between watering/feeding. As long as you don't burn them you'll be fine. Hope this helps and doesn't confuse you...

Well I can say I've never had it be a problem for any of my auto seedlings period... hundreds popped.
I suppose not having the right temps, humidity, ph water, etc can help attribute to problems with FFOF...but I'd say its more an issue amongst new growers with their tendency to overwater.
Just stating theres the other side of the spectrum of those who never have issues with it being 'too hot'
No fear buddy, Don't overwater and dont feed nutes for awhile and you should be golden.
It is literally formulated for cannabis' needs.
Of course like WVR said, adding perlite to any medium is a great move and allow for medium to dry out.
Good growing Karma!
Blessings,
-Verano
