Indoor *diamond flush* dinafem auto cheese grow journal!

Just wanted to put in my two cents. Your grow interested me because it reminds me of when I started. Make sure you follow others tips on going lights with the nutrients. Youll always end up better with not enough fertilizer than with fertilizer burn. Second pc of advice... If you can afford the HPS and fan I would do it. You can get an ok yield with cfl but it will not equal the hps yield. But if you cannot get a fan i would be wary of the getting just an hid light as the heat is kinda tough to deal with unless you can leave the tent open all the time. I do not endorse cheap stuff but the inexpensive stuff on a amazon just over 100bucks for hood ballast and bulb will get you by just don't expect it to last for years. I have also read about heat issues with cheap ballasts. Keep it on a nonflammable surface.(sheet metal a brick etc) And last (I know this is my third cent out of two cents). You are looking for an ounce per plant. Dont be bummed if you dont make you goal on the first couple tries. The way id look into it is did you at least break even with what you get out of it. I always think about what it costs to buy my smoke which where I live is expensive and that quality varies. For me it does not take much to make up seed, equipment and electricity cost. At the least you get some good quality smoke and if it goes well you get alot of it. Trust me on this the more you do this the better you will get. I actually found an old cd that I burned pics on of my 2nd grow years ago and it makes me laugh at how far Ive come since that grow. It was a 250MH industrial light and my plants were in two liter soda bottles with the tops cut off em. YOU COULD ACTUALLY SEE THE ROOTS BOUND UP THROUGH THE CLEAR PLASTIC BOTTLES!!! But back then I had no idea that was bad.

Good luck bro I see good things in your future as a gardener.

I know it's to late and you already pulled your seedlings, but I woulda left them if they weren't completely dead. FFOF is hard to come by around my parts, so last grow I used MG moisture control soil with MG tomatoe food and grew 3, 4 footers fine. I'm not advocating MG, but I don't think the soil was your problem. Especially if you used the organic stuff, since mine was non organic and retained water which would have held onto all those nasty nutes even more so than your soil had.

Can't comment on bud quality though since my plants got stolen (3 weeks before I was going to pull them)

Just have to put a word in here. MG is full of slow release nutes that can wreak havoc on an auto plant. :2cents:

Well guys heres a decent update. Im happy to say they are looking great. The 2 newer ones have both opened and look extremely healthy. So I have 4 going right now. The one that was stunted is just starting to grow again... But the leafs are kind of twisting which leads me to believe its a PH problem. But other than that.. they look great

I ordered a 4 ft 4 bulb t5 that will be here monday. that should help ALOT.

Gonna follow this! I just ordered some of these, im hoping for some nasty stinky buds.

Good luck man!

It was def the soil though. because one of the was clearly burned. Also i havent even kept up with my water PH and the soil PH. So i havent even messed with that stuff yet. Should I start now? I just dont have any PH up and down or a tester atm.. heh

ps: that sucks I had to throw my 4 strawberry cough's out a WEEK before harvest because my ex's mother found out and called the cops. Heh. Sucked :( I would have probably yielded about a QP or more.

Hey Diamond if I were you, I would get the equipment for phing, it you're able too. :howdy:
Ph is a big part of getting the most out of your plant. Ph is very very important friend.

Much luck:toke:

Okay welll heres the another update.

Day 14 for the first 2. and day 7 or so for the second 2. Now one of the first ones looks pretty good... and the other one is barley growing ... and looks a little "twisted" from the transplant. And I think it was burned from the first soil I used before the transplant. Now the 2 newest seedlings one of them has died because I accidently dropped the bag and the soil went everywhere and I kinda just said fuck it. So now I have 3 going. 2 look really healthy 1 looks not so great and is just now starting to have some new growth after the transplant and the nute burn (i think). But I know a big part of the lack of growth is my lighting. Until like 3 days ago I didnt have that much light at all. Now I have about 90 watts per plant almost. And on monday my 4ft 4 tube T5 will be here. That should help dramatically I would imagine. Thats what they will finish under. Im really hoping the one that was stunted pulls through....

Also, I dont have a magnifying glass or anything, but I THINK that the biggest best looking one might be showing signs of sex. Im starting to see the very beginning of the pistils it looks like. They are TINY but I can barley see them I think. I really need to get some PH up and down, im going to do that before monday or tuesday. Ill get a PH tester and some PH up and down so I can maintain the PH, because as of now im not even doing anything about the PH. Its getting NO NUTES yet and Ive only watered 1 time so since the transfer into 3 gallon bags and it was with tap water.

Overall I know that I didn't plan this grow out very well. But hopefully once my T5 comes in on monday and I get them under that and see how it goes. Ill post some pictures on the next update which will probably be tommorrow or the next day. They seem a bit small for day 14 even the biggest one. But again I know that its because of my lack of lighting. But that is about to change. Hopefully its not to late to adjust the PH and get them under the T5 so I can still try to pull atleast 1 ounce per plant. Im REALLLLLY neednig to get 1 ounce per plant. Atleast close to an OZ per plant im hoping.
