I topped my blue diesel i am a first time grower. She Was very Small at 23 days.

Potentially....

We'll have to wait and see....:)

The only thing that you did is stunt the growth.
some people do this intentionally to keep the size down. like micro grows or PC box grows.
your plant can still be healthy, only it will not grow to its potential.
If you dont want a stunted plant try LST.

She took thr stress really Well she was very happy this morning shes a tough girl.

Im sure there are a ton of threads on this but can anyone the pc grow or the stunnted grow

I think the issue lies with the fact that an auto flower's clock is predetermined...there is "X" amount of time and energy spent on vegetation and when that clock is up, it's headed to flowering... So if the time and energy is spent healing a wound to it's primary stalk, it isn't spent elsewhere on new growth. With a photo, you can stretch veg with light cycle and spend the extra time to heal and then get on with what you were doing. Not so with the auto.

I took a shot in the dark with this plant she is very very small i want to get the most out of her. But u are correct.

What was your goal? To get a bigger yield? To make her shorter to fit in the confines of your grow area?

A bigger yield. My grow space us Small but i only grow two gals at a time.

Id be giving her as much sunlight as possible (if possible) to help make up for the loss of main shoot and the wound. I've never topped an auto, it takes a lot of valuable time for a plant to re-evaluate itself and begin It's new plan to survive. Trapper nailed it with the x amount of time philosophy, @ 23 days they're probly getting ready to go into hard veg and sexing. It'll be interesting to see.

Usually when you top an auto you end up getting the same yield as you would if you didn't top it. Sometimes even less with a topped auto. :Sharing One:
