New Grower Diesel x c99 fem auto (Highrise) 200w dual-spec CFL

Hello AFN!

First time grow with a very cheap set up. Apparently these are some rare genetics so let's hope I don't waste them!!

Planted 5 days ago, straight into 12L of multi-purpose compost, with 0.5cm taproot showing.
She's currently about 18cm from the 6400k side of the dual spec.
Photoperiod 20/4.
Temperature has been quite varied but usually stays at 26C.

My timer is out of time by about an hour or two a day so I have been constantly adjusting it.
Does anyone know exactly how sensitive to light disturbances these plants are?
For example if i left the timer on, the photoperiod would be ~22/4 how much would this impact yield? I will buy a new timer just asking out of interest.

Experience with ace of buds? looks like crap but worth asking I guess!

:clap: on your grow! :dance: you are going to LOVE the diesel x c99, the HighRise autos mixed with c99 are all fantastic! Awaiting myself on a pack of ghazediesel x c99! I'm also about to pop a couple of diesel x c99 myself soon, so I will most definitely following along your grow! Any help needed holler! They are med to heavy feeders. They are able to handle abuse quite well and I'd say a PERFECT strain for a beginner. Just think in 60days you'll be chopping down some super dank smoke! :dance: sending a big :karma Cloud: over your grow!

Thanks Yoda! I'm really not confident at all on when/how to feed her. I was planning on getting grow,bloom and micro jungle juice by AN. I just have no idea when to start feeding and how often.

Apart from all that I can't wait!

Keep posting updates buddy, you wont need to feed them (nutes) for a while, but AFN will be able to advise when they need it!

Smoking some d99 right now and i can just say that you will enjoy it very much. I took mine @ 64days and its a real uppy high for me. I just cant stop talking on this weed. I have 3 of them @ 12days right now and i will let at least one of them amber up real good, say day 80-ish to see if some stoney side of the high will be there.

Maybe this strain isn't as rare as I thought! It's definitely something you wouldn't get where i come from.

sup bro! keep the updates coming and welcome to the forums just an FIY for others, this was free seed I won in a pack few back in the BOM for my Think Different and gifted Mr.Mendel will do my best if you ever need any help!

in terms of rare I'd say its a pretty unique strain, I read they only made a limited amount of these seeds, and at least in the UK u wont come accoss this easily, looking forwards to growing one myself, or even trying some of yours!

Every time i wake up in the morning she's gotten bigger these plants grow like weeds! I can't imagine how fast they'd grow in hydro.

I may be running into my first problem :no: The first true leaves look a little warped/deformed. I think I might have over watered a little even though I've only been adding a few drops a day. Other than the deformity she seems to be growing fairly quickly, third set of true leaves are just coming through and she's not even two weeks old yet!



There's also a small green split on the purple main stem which is apparently nothing to worry about.
