Indoor Dinafem Auto White Widow Grow

As promised, here is a picture update on the ladies.

White Widow #1

Nice sized pistils

More female parts

This one is probably my favorite. As you can see, it's definitely female. It's developing very nicely and is starting to stink up the place. Gonna have to invest in some sort of odor elimination soon. Any affordable suggestions?

White Widow #2

Check out those side branches!

This one is growing the biggest and most rapidly BY FAR. The space in between the first and second node is about an inch or so, while the space in between the second and third node is at least an inch and a half. This is the only one to experience this sort of stretch.

White Widow #3

Side

beedougiefresh-albums-auto-white-widow-grow-picture242332-ww-3.jpg

Nothing special happening here. Normal vegetative growth aside from the odd, unsymmetrical leaves. Good growth nonetheless.

White Widow #4

beedougiefresh-albums-auto-white-widow-grow-picture242334-ww-4.jpg

My theory with this one has been proven; it is in fact making 4 leaves and 4 branches on every node. As a result, it has a very dense canopy. This one may be the highest yielder due to sheer number of budding sites as a result of genetic mutation. Thanks Dinafem! (sincerely)

White Widow #5

This one is doing surprisingly well. Aside from being the obvious runt, I think it will turn out well in terms of yield and potency. Then again, I am usually pretty optimistic. Lol.

Kannabia Karamelo

This sprout is looking nice and healthy, and extremely hairy on its stem. My plan for this is to veg it during the entire life of the white widows and after harvest, switch it to flower (since it is a photoperiod plant).

The gang's all here!

Thank you for viewing.
Peace.

It's been a little bit since I've had time to update this. So here it is:

These pictures were taken on Monday, July 8th unless stated otherwise.

Budding site

Top of plant

This plant is growing beautifully. I fed her and WW #2 1/2 tablespoon of Grow Big and 1/2 tablespoon Tiger Bloom per gallon twice now and they only experienced minor nute burn on the very top leaves. Nest feeding I'll down the dosage to around 3/4 tablespoon per gallon total.

Here's a pic from today of the budding sites:

White Widow #2

beedougiefresh-albums-auto-white-widow-grow-picture246350-ww-2.jpg

It's 2 ft. tall in this picture and only about 4 weeks old.

beedougiefresh-albums-auto-white-widow-grow-picture246190-ww-2s-leaf.jpg

It's leaves and structure definitely display a sativa phenotype.

This plant is growing into a monster. It's starting to develop little buds now. It'll be nice having both the indica and sativa phenotype to smoke. Can't wait.

White Widow #3

beedougiefresh-albums-auto-white-widow-grow-picture246189-ww-3.jpg

Not much to update about this plant. Basic vegetative growth up until today. It now has nice little buds coming in.

White Widow #4

Crazy thick stem

This one seems to be pretty far behind on bud production compared to the others. I'll continue feeding it straight veg nutes till it's ready to switch, but I hope it doesn't take forever.

White Widow #5

This is the runt, though it is now on the same level as WW #3 and 4. It caught up finally. Lol.

Kannabia Karamelo

This one is gonna be enormous. It's leaves today are way bigger then they are in this picture. They're just as big as some of WW #1's leaves.

Random Bagseed Sprout

beedougiefresh-albums-auto-white-widow-grow-picture246351-random-bagseed-sprout.jpg

I've got this on an old garbage can with holes punched in the bottom for drainage and filled with 50% cheap potting soil, 30% FFOF, and 20% perlite. It's under a 30 watt 6500k CFL with a reflector around it.

My attempt to get them all in one picture (this is from today).

I just measured White Widow #2 and it's now 30 inches tall. It grew 6 inches in a couple days!

It's been awhile since my last update so here it is. All the girls are about 5 weeks old, except for the Kannabia Karamelo, which was sprouted a few weeks after the white widows.

This one's getting thicker and starting to get some trichs on the sugar leaves and buds.

As you can see, this one is monstrous and it's covered in budding sites. It's now around 36 inches tall.

This one is coming along great. It has a lot of buds for being so little compared to the others. It looks like a mini version of WW #2.

Bad nute burn

I'd say it definitely has the claw

beedougiefresh-albums-auto-white-widow-grow-picture248781-ww-4.jpg

Some discoloration/necrosis on one of the oldest leaves

beedougiefresh-albums-auto-white-widow-grow-picture248780-ww-4.jpg

More nute burn

I gave this one a flush and stopped feeding it nutes a few days ago when i noticed the symptoms of N toxicity. Anyone have any other suggestions on what to do? It may be stunted from the shock. Here's to hoping it gets better quickly. :bong:

This one is now starting to display the claw. I'll give it a decent flush as soon as I get the chance, and have already stopped feeding it.

These leaves are huge

This thing has the biggest leaves of any plant its size that I've ever seen. They're enormous. They're the biggest of any plant in my closet garden. It also has good branch growth and great node spacing for being so far away from the light, which has to be very high to accommodate my white widows.

I forgot to add that I haven't even fed the Karamelo with nutes. Only straight water. Its in FFOF so i figured it would be fine for a couple weeks and so far its been doing great. And in the next couple days I'll be stopping at my local hydroponics store to pick up some Earth Juice nutes for this one. I was gonna try all organic with it.

They are looking good! Keep doing what you're doing!! I just chopped my Dinafem WW and it's drying up now.....looks like it's going to yield about 8 oz or better dry weight (grown in a 5 gallon DWC hydro under a 400w HPS). You are right about this strain having a noticeable smell while growing, even as a young plant. I smoked one little quick-dried bud and it shows promise, can't wait for final cure to see how it finishes up!

Enjoying your grow reports, keep 'em coming!

BTW, I harvested about 3 dozen nice mature seeds from the widow after treating a branch with colloidal silver to make some pollen and then pollinating some lower branches. I harvested all the tops first and then let the bottom of the plant continue growing to finish up the seeds.

Nice looking grow there brother. I have 3 Dinafem WWs going right now as well. 2 just sprouted, other is 3 weeks old. Indica phenotype with those outrageously large fan leaves lol. Keep up the good work!

8 oz from one plant is crazy! I'd love to get that much in total yeild. Lol. And yeah, mine stink up the whole house just about, and their not even midway through flowering.
I've been checking out DWC and might try it after a couple more soil grows cause it's treated me well so far.
I'd love to see a smoke report from you on this strain after a good cure.
