Grow Mediums Dinafem OG Kush at 58 days - slow to develop?

Hi people

Just wrote this and it crashed - Grrrr.. Anyway, try again with a shorter version.

Sitting at day 58 from seed split with Dinafem OG Kush - big plant but been in flower for 4 weeks roughly and very little to show for it. Loads of bud sites but just 5p sized little white fluff balls.

Dinafem claim 70 - 80 but if I pull her in a couple of weeks she'll gimme bugger all.

Anyone know if they run loads longer??? I locked mag out a little but she seems happy enough, just not putting on the weight. Could even still be stretching a little... Dutch Pro flower nutes at 1.8 - 2.0 with extra cal mag, multi total and explode. PH now floating just above 6 to get the mag back in...

Anyone care to reassure me she suddenly going to explode into life and give me 3 oz and run 90 days.

Welcome to AFN bud :Sharing One:I have had a good few plants go over 100 days but produce in the end :Cool bud: could be a late bloomer ,that lockout would slow things too .Plus I dont even count day 1 until the 1st tap root hits the water as they always take a bit longer in hydro too.My advice is be patient & let her go as long as can ,Photo's have upto a 12 week bloom phase so you could need to go another 8 weeks anyway if your only 4 in now. They do finish eventually man .Good luck

Thanks very much for the reassurance – according to Dinafem its sat dom anyway so I’m happy to let it run to 100 if needs be. I was just a bit worried it would suddenly turn on me and 10 days and I’d have a jar of fluff! It’s my exit jar filler before I move so needs to be a good one before I can set up again!


The mag issues have come back and she’s looking a bit yellow on a couple of branches. I’ve got her around 6.0 ph and 2.0 / 2.1 EC to try to get her back in line. Definitely still stretching and I’ve run out of room – gotta be a good 5ft + tall now! Probably flicked to bloom nutes a bit early which might be why she’s yellow (could be nitrogen) but def Ca / Mg lock out too.

Wouldn’t have happened if my ph meter had been a bit more reliable (without naming names – it’s blue, seems to need calibrating every bloody week not every month like they reckon and is crap TBH, just won’t hold a calibration)


Here’s hoping I can keep her going long enough to fatten up – she’s seems a bit scatty (I’m bloody sure she’d stopped stretching and now she’s off again!!!) but if she’s going to go another month or more it’s more whether I’ll get beaten by the mag lock out before she gets there...fingers crossed!!!

The yellowing & deff sounds like it could be your PH meter not helping ? normally yellowing is a sign of underfed but at 2.0 ec I doubt that's the case ,next option most likely is PH ...try dropping it to around 5.8 & keep it close to that if poss .Good luck with the plant & your move

vapeman i had the same... i pulled it early... dinafem been good to me but moved on to mephisto... i love these xxl strains but not the 90 n 100 day wait

Auto's are funny I am finding out. You can have 1 plant that gives you 3 ounces and then another that only gives you 1/4 ounce. It's all in the genetics.

I find that most go over advertised flower times by a good bit. Only had a few in near 30 years of growing off and on that finished on time. Go by the trics for when to harvest and you can't go wrong. Happy Growing
