Heyas. I live in the south about 5 miles from a bay and the soil here is pretty much nuteless. Its a sandy mix. If I wanted to make a growing medium oit of that with some peat I have and ph is good, is there any reason why I couldnt explore this as an option and feed it hydro nutes like a coco grow?

I think how much peat you use would determine if you treat it like soil or hydro. Peat based mixes, IME, should be treated as soil.
Other than that there's no reason I can think of why it's not a feasible plan.

The use of sand in soil mixes for growing weed is generally avoided. Sand tends to compact the soil and weed likes loose, well drained soil. If you look at some of the soil recipes here, especially in the organic section, it's unlikely you'll see any that contain sand.
