Hi everyone.I thought Id share an Idea me and a buddy came up with on the fly since My 6X12" 450CFM intake filter hasnt gotten here yet.But Im buttoning down the hatches as it were since Im not far from flower.
330CFM Muffin fan.Very cheap and can be used with a standard rheostat.6" fan.
1/2 inch piece of plywood cut to your sizes for your tent of any application ya choose ofcourse.
An intake filter (the name escapes me atm)size is roughly 6 inch by 10 inch or there abouts.can be removed ,and cleaned with water and an airhose if needed.Sitting on top of a light-medium(#2 foam I think) piece of Marina grade foam as a gasket.
A plug stripped n solered well and stirng your intake flaps around(I have 2,double sealed drawstrings)the fan.not sure how other tents are set up as far as intake holes or whatever.but if I didnt have two drawstrings or still run into an issue I thought about something similar to a womans hair tie or some such thing.
Well I hope this helps a couple of you DIY'ers that are looking for some basic inttake filtration that will move a heck of a lot of air.Unimpeded.Yes I know I cant spell.LOL!Take it easy everyone.:Sharing One:
