High guys,
just a quickie, just after an easy DIY nutrients recipe (I have done a search but I am pretty medicated and its all turned into a blur of info
and just getting a bit of an over load lol) have 5 easy ryders on the go outside, in organic potting soil vermiculite mix,
Still have there pammy little first round leaves but all growing good coloured strong looking first sets of fan leaves.
Cant really afford fancy dedicated weed nutrients so looking at other options for down the line, tho understand they will be fine
in there current soil mix for now and don't want to burn them, Anyway rambling now lol. Question I have access too horse dung
nettles wood ash and eeerm obviously urine (I heard that's good) thinking about making a "tea bag" any ides on ingredients
ratio, when to start feeding and how often, I bet this has been asked a million times and know its annoying when a noob
don't just use the search bar, but just need too "simplify" you get what I am saying :-)

Might want to post this in the Organic section, or ask a mod to move it there. Those guys can help better there with this one. Sorry mate, I know nothing about that stuff!

I agree with Briman...I can move it if you would like?

You can preferentially extract the potassium (K) from wood ash by dissolving it in water, then quickly separating the solids and liquid. The potassium salts dissolved really quickly, but the others tend to dissolved more slowly, so you can extract most of the potassium, but leave behind quite a bit of the calcium and other stuff.
